How is accident leave financed? – The financing follows a two-stage process in Luxembourg. Initially, your employer continues paying your full salary during the first month of absence. After this initial period, the Accident Insurance Association (Association d'Assurance Accident, AAA) assumes responsibility for compensation payments, ensuring continuous financial support throughout your recovery period.
